Semi-ovoidal vase on a low pedestal base with sharply broken edges and a concave tapering profile. Vertical handles extend slightly beyond the vase width, rising high and shaped as fan-shaped fluted leaves. Decorated with a blue print in a wallpaper pattern. Shape modeled on Wedgwood products see 1817 catalogue, pl.7, fig.146. Maker: Cmielów faience and porcelain factory; 1804–, prints/wallpaper patterns; provenance unknown. Date: 1840–1860. Poland. Vessel. Height 16.0 cm; width 20.0 cm; depth 32.0 cm., A ceramic bowl with a wide rounded body and a pedestal base sits on a matching saucer; the bowl has two large curved handles extending from opposite sides. The surface of the bowl, handles, pedestal, and saucer is densely decorated with a small floral and vine pattern in shades of blue on a white background. The overall color palette includes white and various blues, and the object appears against a smooth light gray backdrop.
