Black body with overglaze-painted red-figure scene: Zeus on a throne surrounded by the Muses, Neptune Poseidon with Amphitrite, and Athena . Traces of gilded and engraved antique-looking floral ornament around the edge under the neck, the lower part, and the neck under the rim. Golden neck and foot painted in sepia and brick brown with five compositions featuring an eagle, a shield, a sword, a helmet, a dove, a floral wreath, and Neptune's attributes; a trail of leaves surrounds the foot. Foot mounted with a belly on a spindle., A tall decorative vase standing on a square base with a pedestal, showing a glossy black body decorated with orange-red figures of winged and robed human forms on cloud-like shapes, a band of ornate gold scrollwork and floral motifs near the top and bottom of the main body, and additional gilded detailing on the flared rim and neck including small painted objects; visible colors include black, orange-red, gold, and hints of brown against a neutral gray background.
