Black body with overglaze-painted red-figure retinue: Zeus on a throne surrounded by the Muses, Neptune Poseidon with Amphitrite, and Athena . Traces of gilded and engraved antique-looking floral ornament beneath the neck, on the lower body, and under the rim. Around the gilded neck and foot, painted in sepia and brick brown, are five compositions featuring an eagle insignia of power, a shield, a sword, a helmet, a dove, a floral wreath, and Neptune's attributes. A trail of leaves surrounds the foot; the foot is mounted with a belly on a spindle.
