Table, Wereszczakowa, Karolina 1861–1925; classicism; gift; pre-war provenance. TABLE with a rectangular top with chamfered corners, with a drawer in the frame, veneered with mahogany. Supported by four angular outward-curved legs joined mid-height by a shelf with semicircularly indented sides, originally with a finial in the middle. The chamfered corners of the frame and the outer surfaces of the legs at the top decorated with brass rosettes, the drawer lock plate is of a similar form. Mortise lock not preserved. Early 19th century, Poland, Central Europe. Furniture, table. Dimensions: height 78 cm, width 57.8 cm, depth 41.5 cm., The image shows an upside-down wooden stool or small table base with a warm reddish-brown finish, curved legs that arch upward, a rectangular recessed platform at the bottom with a lighter brown interior surface, and a smooth neutral gray background.
