Double-sided gingerbread mold; obverse: sheep, reverse: hare. Woodcarving, folk-style decorations; zoomorphic motifs. Rectangular mold: one side shows a sheep standing in a meadow with its head turned forward; the other shows a running hare above a decorative flowery meadow. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Mold; height 15.5 cm, width 9 cm, depth 3.6 cm., A rectangular wooden panel carved with the raised figure of an animal in profile, appearing to stand on a carved base with decorative floral and linear patterns; the animal has textured fur, a rounded snout, visible carved whiskers, an open circular eye, elongated ears swept back, and a short tail, all rendered in relief against the smooth wood background. The visible colors are various shades of brown in the wood and a neutral gray background surrounding the panel.
