Double-sided gingerbread mould; obverse: stylised elongated fish covered with scales, shown in profile; reverse: Archangel Michael in a patterned robe decorated with a plant twig, holding scales in his right hand and a sword in his left, with a plant ornament at the bottom. Rectangular wooden mould; folk-style decorations; Christian religious symbols. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Mould; height 13.5 cm, width 6.5 cm, depth 4.5 cm., A rectangular wooden block with a carved fish relief on its top surface sits on a smooth, flat background. The block shows a brown wood tone with lighter and darker variations and worn areas, and the carved fish has textured scales and a defined head and tail. The background is a uniform pale gray.
