Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: two female figures and a wreath. Reverse: two male figures and a house with a windmill. Woodcarving, folk-style decorations; genre scenes of peasants, houses, wreaths, windmills. Rectangular form; obverse upper register: two female figures in mid-19th-century costumes—one in an elegant dress with a bonnet decorated with flowers, the other in richly flower-decorated folk dress; lower register: a wreath woven of flowers and leaves. Reverse upper register: two male figures in peasant costume—left figure leaning on a shovel, right figure probably a sower; lower register: a house among meadows and trees with a windmill. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Height 28.5 cm, width 13 cm, depth 3.6 cm., A vertical rectangular wooden plank with a worn, light brown surface stands centered against a smooth, pale gray background; the plank shows subtle darker brown spots and grain variations along its length, slightly rounded and chipped edges at the top and bottom, and an overall weathered texture.
