Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: two female figures and a wreath; Reverse: two male figures and a house with a windmill. Woodcarving, folk-style decoration; genre scenes, houses, wreaths, windmills, peasants, gingerbread mould. Rectangular form; one side: at top two female figures in mid-19th-century costumes—one in an elegant dress with a bonnet decorated with flowers, the other in a richly flowered folk dress—and at the bottom a wreath woven of flowers and leaves. Other side: upper part shows two male figures in peasant costume left figure leaning on a shovel, right figure likely a sower; bottom shows a decorative motif of a house among meadows and trees with a windmill beside it. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Height 28.5 cm, width 13 cm, depth 3.6 cm., A rectangular wooden panel with carved reliefs showing two standing female figures in long dresses and ornate hats above a circular wreath-like floral carving; the wood appears brown with areas of lighter and darker brown, the background around the panel is a pale gray, and the carved details create shadows of darker brown.
