Double-sided gingerbread form. Obverse: female figure in a hat and a long patterned dress. Reverse: baby in swaddling clothes richly decorated with geometric and plant ornament. Rectangular form; folk motifs and plant ornaments; decorative folk art. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Height 23.5 cm; width 9.5 cm; depth 2.6 cm., A long narrow wooden plank oriented vertically against a light gray background, its surface a tan to light brown with visible grain and worn spots, including a faded patch of darker brown near the upper middle; the plank shows a pattern of several small round holes of varying sizes scattered along its length and a few shallow dents and scrapes, with slightly rougher, chipped edges at the top and bottom.
