Subjects: babies, geometric ornaments, plant ornaments, human figures, folk motifs, folk customs., A long rectangular wooden plank rests on a smooth light gray surface, carved along its top with an elongated recessed design depicting a stylized human face at one end and a patterned, lattice-like section toward the other end, connected by bands of repeating ornamentation; the wood shows natural tan and brown tones with areas of darker brown where the carvings and edges have aged, and there are a few small darker spots and scuffs on the plank.
