Double-sided gingerbread mould, woodcarver/gingerbread maker Glauer signature Glauer:, dated j.1827 1826. Rectangular mould, height 29 cm, width 10.5 cm, depth 2.4 cm. One side: twelve small images of animals two horses, two roosters, two crayfish, and two storks carrying babies in baskets and two decorative pipes. Other side: miniature elements including children in swaddling blankets, shoes, footwraps, a cradle, a guitar, and other motifs adorned with plant and geometric ornaments. Zoomorphic and human figures, plant and geometric ornaments, folk motifs; gingerbread form from Silesia Province of Silesia, 1742–1918., A single vertical rectangular object occupies the center of the image, appearing as a weathered brown bar with darker and lighter variations and subtle surface marks; it stands against a smooth, uniform light gray background that fills the rest of the frame.
