Double-sided gingerbread form. Obverse: image of a rider; reverse: four representations of human figures. Double-sided rectangular form; one side: image of a trumpeter on a horse dressed in a decorative tail, in costume from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries—long jerkin with wide tails, breeches and long boots, tricorn hat—with floral decoration at the bottom. Second side: four small images of human figures shown front and back: first figure, male, carrying a basket filled with children probably known in folk tradition as Kinderbringer; second, female, in a high headdress and country dress, holding a handkerchief in one hand and a small basket in the other. Gingerbread form; genre scenes, decorative art, folk motifs; Silesia, 18th–19th century. Height 42 cm, width 25.5 cm, depth 2.8 cm., A single vertical wooden beam suspended against a plain light gray background; the beam is dark brown with visible grain, rough texture, small cracks, and worn edges, and the top shows a larger split while the bottom end appears slightly angled and worn.
