Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: images of four heads; depending on rotation the heads take on a male or female appearance in one the male head changes into a goat. Reverse: seven elements in decorative frames: a house roof, a flower, a bird, a plate with the inscription IDR / 1763 and another with GFK / 1763, an anchor and cross, decoration complemented by a wreath and flower motif in a medallion. Plant ornaments, human figures, zoomorphic motifs, wreaths, religious symbols. Applied/folk art, decorative art. Date: 1793. Maker/ Region: Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Form. Dimensions: height 34.6 cm, width 9.3 cm, depth 2 cm., A long rectangular wooden board rests on a smooth light gray surface, with a muted gray background. The board is brown with variations of lighter and darker wood tones and shows carved recessed panels and circular indentations along its top face. Several square and rectangular carved compartments display raised decorative reliefs and patterned borders, and a few round shallow hollows appear near the ends. The wood surface shows subtle worn areas and grain texture, and shadows fall beneath the board creating a soft darker gray tone on the surface.
