Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: 7 floral and plant motifs; reverse: 12 various motifs in frames and medallions. Rectangular mould with one side showing bouquets of roses and other flowers and two floral wreaths; second side a sequence of twelve images in a rectangular frame depicting a human figure during farm work, below eight medallions containing representations of human heads and various animals. Gingerbread mould with folk-style decorations, wreaths, human figures, floral and zoomorphic motifs; applied art, figural scenes. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Height 25.3 cm; width 6.6 cm; depth 1.5 cm., A rectangular wooden block rests on a smooth surface, showing carved floral and circular wreath-like patterns on its top face; the wood displays warm brown tones with some darker carved recesses and slightly lighter worn edges, and the background and surface are shades of pale gray.
