Double-sided gingerbread mould. Rectangular shape; obverse: stylised horse in full trot with a Maltese cross on the saddle, standing on a base decorated with floral and plant ornament; reverse: deer eating leaves, with a leaf-and-flower ornament at the bottom. Folk-style decorative motifs; applied/decorative art object used for gingerbread. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Materials: gingerbread mould; dimensions: height 15.5 cm, width 10.2 cm, depth 3.4 cm., A carved wooden plaque showing a stylized animal in profile with a long neck and body, standing on a carved base decorated with floral and leafy motifs; the animal has a textured coat indicated by repetitive carved lines, a detailed mane made of braided or looped carved elements, a small rounded tail, and a leafy branch or foliage held in its mouth. The plaque surface is worn with visible tool marks and small holes, and the colors visible are various shades of brown on the wooden plaque set against a pale gray background.
