Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: female figure with a fan, wearing a headgear decorated with four large feathers, a fur-lined outer coat over a richly decorated dress with a neckline; floral and plant ornament at the bottom. Reverse: male figure with a mustache, wearing a hat with a feather, a long fur-lined coat over a patterned shirt, holding a long pipe; similar floral and plant ornament at the bottom. Folk-style decorations, figurative scenes; applied/decorative art; gingerbread mould; hats, feathers, male and female figures, pipes. Rectangular form. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Dimensions: height 50.5 cm, width 19.2 cm, depth 4.5 cm., A vertical wooden plank with a rectangular cross-section is centered against a smooth light gray background; the plank is medium to dark brown with visible wood grain, knots, and darker stains, and its top and bottom ends show slightly worn edges and a few darker spots.
