Obverse: female figure in a long, patterned, richly decorated dress, wearing a hat adorned with an egretta; reverse: male figure with a fur hat, dressed in a fur-lined coat over a shirt with decorative embroidery, holding a long pipe. Plant decoration at the bottom of both figures. Woodcarving, folk-style decorations; applied/decorative art; female and male figures; historical costumes. Double-sided rectangular mould. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Form. Dimensions: height 19 cm, width 9 cm, depth 3.3 cm., A long narrow rectangular wooden plank with a worn surface, visible grain, small scratches, and a few small round depressions, shown against a neutral gray background; the wood displays shades of brown with lighter and darker areas, and there are subtle hints of tan and muted purple-brown tones.
