Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: female figure in a long, patterned, richly decorated dress, wearing a hat decorated with an egretta. Reverse: male figure with a fur hat, dressed in a fur-lined coat over a shirt with decorative embroidery, holding a long pipe. Plant decoration at the bottom of both figures. Woodcarving, folk-style decorations; female and male figures; decorative applied art. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Form: double-sided rectangular mould. Dimensions: height 19 cm, width 9 cm, depth 3.3 cm., A rectangular wooden block with visible grain and cracks is centered against a smooth gray background; the wood shows shades of brown with darker streaks and a few lighter worn spots, and the background displays several tones of gray.
