Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: female figure in a long, patterned, richly decorated dress, wearing a hat decorated with an egretta. Reverse: male figure with a fur hat, dressed in a fur-lined coat over a shirt with decorative embroidery, holding a long pipe. Plant decoration at the bottom of both figures. Woodcarving; folk-style decorations; gingerbread moulds; decorative/applied art. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Form: double-sided rectangular mould. Dimensions: height 19 cm, width 9 cm, depth 3.3 cm., A rectangular wooden block with a carved fish motif across its center sits against a plain background; the block shows a worn, medium brown wood tone with lighter brown scuff marks and grain variations, while the carved fish is a slightly darker brown with textured scales and a detailed head and tail, and the surrounding background is a smooth, pale gray.
