Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: female figure in a long, patterned, richly decorated dress, wearing a hat decorated with an egretta. Reverse: male figure with a fur hat, dressed in a fur-lined coat over a shirt with decorative embroidery, holding a long pipe. Plant decoration at the bottom of both figures. Woodcarving; folk-style decorations; applied/decorative art; female and male figures; historical costumes; water pipes. 18th–19th century, Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Double-sided rectangular mould. Height 19 cm, width 9 cm, depth 3.3 cm., A carved wooden panel showing a full-length figure in relief standing on a decorated rectangular base; the figure has long curled hair or braided detailing, a round hat or headpiece, and wears a long garment with decorative edging and textured patterns; the figure’s arms are bent at the elbows with hands held near the waist, and a thin carved element extends diagonally across the torso; the panel surface shows natural wood grain, small holes, and areas of wear; predominant colors visible are brown tones of the wood with a neutral gray background.
