Double-sided gingerbread mould, rectangular. Obverse: Adam and Eve in paradise—naked figures standing under the Tree of Knowledge with a snake wrapped around it; below, plant and floral decoration. Reverse: baby in swaddling clothes decorated with a plant ornament. Materials: gingerbread mould applied/decorative art, folk-style decorations, religious and plant motifs; figurative scenes. Date: 18th–19th century. Maker: unknown. Place: Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Dimensions: height 22.2 cm, width 10.5 cm, depth 3.3 cm., A rectangular wooden block rests on a smooth gray surface against a gray background; the block is light brown with darker brown grain and worn edges, and the top face shows a carved relief of a standing human figure with detailed carved clothing and ornamentation; the carving and surrounding wood display various shades of brown and tan, and the block casts a soft shadow on the gray surface.
