Wooden tankard, carved, probably a peg tankard, Depicts religious/Gospel scenes, including Passion scenes in bas-relief and a Resurrection of Christ on the lid. Inscriptions present. Pear-shaped wooden tankard, round, richly decorated with bas-reliefs of Passion scenes; lid rim and handle decorated with plant motifs and masks, studded with ivory pins. Center has a row of vertically driven metal pegs placed at regular intervals top two missing. 17th century, Scandinavia. Vessel; height 23.5 cm, width 20.5 cm., A carved circular wooden object with a carved decorative handle at the top, shown against a plain light gray background. The object is predominantly dark brown with carved figures and textured patterns across its surface, and a ring of small round light-colored inlaid spots around the central carved area. The handle has ornate carved elements in dark brown matching the circular piece, and the lower shadow indicates it is resting on a flat surface.
