Kontusz belt. Quadripartite heads with a pattern of flower bouquets in inverted vases; earth marked at the bottom and clouds at the top. Alternating transverse stripes, smooth and varied in color, with tendril motifs in three varieties; partial edging with plant motifs. Colors: beige, brown, light blue, cream, pink, green. Reversible belt, men's clothing accessory. 2nd half of the 18th century, Volhynia. Length 290.5 cm; width 44.5 cm., Two long woven textiles are visible side by side against a pale background, each showing horizontal patterned bands with repeating motifs. The left textile has a muted palette of beige, light yellow, pale blue, soft brown, and faded green, with decorative floral and scroll-like designs and a fringe at the lower edge. The right textile features similar horizontal banding with colors including beige, warm tan, muted orange, pale blue, brown, and green, also showing floral and ornamental patterns and a slightly frayed lower edge. Both pieces display alternating narrow and wider stripes, symmetrical decorative repeats, and subtle variations in tone across their woven surfaces.
