The upper part is machine-sewn, the lining is hand-sewn. Circa 1850, Berlin. Footwear, women's ankle boots; height 10 cm, width 5.5 cm, length 25.5 cm., A pair of small worn shoes displayed side by side on a plain light gray surface, each shoe showing a dark brown lower portion with visible creasing and scuffed areas, and a deep red upper section with frayed fabric bows at the sides; the shoes have rounded toes and low profiles, and the visible colors include dark brown, deep red, light brown on the soles, and the surrounding light gray background.
