Chasuble, liturgical vestment; 18th century. Silk columns with a pattern of pink and silver stripes. Sides made of brown fabric with floral motifs, partly in damask technique and partly brocaded with colorful silks: sky blue, pink, and cream. Columns from France, sides from Venice. Length 112 cm, width 70 cm back., A rectangular garment laid flat with a central vertical panel in a pale beige color bordered by a wider brown fabric on each side, the brown areas patterned with small floral motifs in muted colors including light blue, pale green, white, and rusty orange; the central panel has faint vertical stripes in slightly darker beige and reddish tones; the garment shows frayed edges and worn areas, with a scalloped neckline at the top and a narrow decorative trim in a light beige running along the outer sides and bottom; the overall colors visible are brown, beige, light blue, pale green, white, and rusty orange.
