Chasuble, Madonna and Child, St. Bridget 1303–1373, Slepowron coat of arms, coats of arms, religious scenes, saints, floral ornaments, flowers, liturgical vestments, plant ornaments, church paraments, sacred art, churches and chapels furnishings. Chasuble made of solid fabric with a floral pattern, with embroidered columns. On the front column is the figure of St. John the Evangelist holding a chalice with a snake; below is a cartouche with the Slepowron coat of arms, around the cartouche the letters TLSD. On the back column is Mary and Child on a crescent; below is a kneeling Saint Bridget with an inscription around her head: SM BRI/GITTA. Stylized floral motifs embroidered in the background of the columns. The columns and sides of the chasuble are trimmed with gold bobbin lace. 17th century, Spain fabric?, Poland embroidery?. Liturgical vestment. Length 100 cm, width 69 cm back., A garment laid flat against a pale background, predominantly blue with a sheen to the fabric, featuring a central panel of metallic gold embroidery framed by gold lace; the embroidered panel shows a standing human figure with a pale face and multicolored clothing in muted green and orange tones, surrounded by decorative gold patterns and floral motifs, with the gold areas showing textured stitching and some worn spots, while the blue fabric forms the sides, shoulder sections, and border, creating contrast between the cool blue and warm gold colors.
