Wall hanging of rep fabric sewn from many fragments, embroidered with beige, cream, ash, and brown silk thread with flat stitches, and with silver thread and plate with laid stitches — in places on a backing of thin string. In the center of the lower edge and in the upper corners are bouquets composed of large and small flowers, fruit, and cornucopias. In the lower corners and in the center of the upper edge are smaller floral sprigs. Trimmed with a wide mesh ribbon with sewn-on flowers. Tie strings are sewn onto the narrow edges. Floral motifs; plant ornaments; flowers and leaves; sacred art; churches and chapels furnishings. Piece width 49 cm; fabric density 23 weft threads and 35 warp threads per cm; brown selvedges; height 73 cm; width 120 cm; 2nd half of the 18th century; Poland., A rectangular embroidered fabric panel lies flat against a light background, framed by a loosely woven border with a braided texture; the panel center is a pale beige or ivory silk with visible creases and faint discoloration, and there are embroidered floral motifs in a slightly darker beige or tan thread positioned near the corners and center, with subtle leafy stems extending vertically; the outer border shows muted green and blue tones with small hints of pink, and the overall scene includes soft shadows and a neutral pale gray surrounding surface.
