Serrated lower edge with stylized feathery leaves and flower calyces; above them are floral bouquets and flower projections. 1st half of the 19th century, France. Lace, width 39 cm, length 328 cm., A horizontal strip of delicate lace with a scalloped lower edge, displayed against a flat background; the lace features an intricate floral pattern with bouquets, leafy sprigs, and scrolling vine motifs woven throughout, and there are some small irregular holes and tiny stains visible on the fabric; the lace appears in off-white and cream tones, set against a muted gray backdrop with slightly darker gray at the top and bottom edges.
