Pattern with motifs of a large leafy-palmette bouquet emerging from a vase similar to a pear; above the bouquet is a heart-shaped palmette. Few de brides-style connections with picots. Lace is dense and likely of the opaque type. Lower edge gently serrated, upper edge straight. Materials/technique: lace. Width 41 cm, length 356 cm., A large panel of intricate lacework in off-white and cream tones lies flat against a gray background, showing a repeating floral and foliate pattern with scalloped edges. The lace features a few prominent stylized blossoms and leaves formed by denser embroidered areas surrounded by openwork, with several looping and curving motifs connecting the elements. The texture appears delicate and slightly raised in places where the threads are more tightly worked, and the scalloped hem showcases rounded, petal-like shapes. The overall colors visible are off-white, cream, and gray from the background.
