Chasuble, Liturgical vestment made of white silk satin, embroidered with colorful silk threads. The columns feature a wide, richly flowered tendril with large flowers in the bends and small ones along the tendrils. The sides are decorated with floral sprigs placed one above the other and growing from heart-shaped vases. Predominant colors: pink in several shades, green, and blue. Edges trimmed with wide gold braid; columns trimmed with narrower braid. Cotton lining, light pink. Dated 1st half of the 19th century 18th century, Poland noted. Length 107 cm, width 66 cm back. Subjects/ornament: flowers, plant tendrils, plant ornaments; church paraments; sacred art; churches and chapels furnishings., A sleeveless textile garment displayed flat with a rounded bottom and a pointed top, featuring a central panel and side panels separated by vertical bands of trim; the fabric shows embroidered floral motifs with large stylized flowers and curling leafy vines. The visible colors include cream and beige background tones, gold trim, and floral embroidery in shades of green, pink, peach, yellow, blue, and pale purple, with areas of muted brown and tan. The garment has wider curved trim along the arm openings and down the sides in a gold or bronze tone, and the embroidery fills the panels with repeating flower clusters and scrolling foliage. The overall appearance is soft and delicate, with a mix of pastel and metallic hues against a light neutral ground.
