Sides are of Turkish fabric 17th century with a pattern of winding stems with leaves, strongly tilted alternately to the right and left, and sprigs of small flowers. Background is satin with a warp cover — greens, patterns highlighted with gold, cream, and red wefts. Gold threads with braiding. Column of yellow and white French fabric 17th century. Column of yellow and white stripe. Lace pattern highlighted with white weft. Side fabric — repeat length 16.5 cm; column fabric — repeat length 61–61.5 cm. Background with a rep texture tied in a plain weave, pattern highlighted with white weft. Divisions and sides trimmed with red and gold galloon. Edges with narrow, frayed galloon. 17th/18th century, France column, Turkey sides. Liturgical vestment. Dimensions: length 105 cm, width 63 cm back., A single ornate textile garment with a central vertical panel and two side panels, displayed flat against a dark background; the central panel is a golden yellow with a detailed woven floral and leaf pattern in a lighter metallic tone, while the side panels are green with woven floral and scrolling vine motifs in lighter metallic tones and small accents in a reddish color; narrow burgundy trim separates the central and side panels and outlines the neckline and edges; the fabric has a textured, brocade-like appearance and the colors visible include golden yellow, green, metallic light (silvery), burgundy, and dark background.
