A so-called Saxon lace belt, lace belt as men's clothing accessory. The central part is a continuous belt with a geometric ornament; among the motifs is a circle containing an hourglass. Side belts of similar width are permanently connected. The entire belt is trimmed with fringe. 17th/18th century, Poland. Materials: lace; dimensions: height 270 cm, width 25 cm., A close-up of a textured fabric showing a horizontal band of fringe at the top and an open net-like weave beneath it, followed by a patterned lace section with repeating geometric motifs. The visible colors are beige and gray, with beige thread forming the fringe, netting, and decorative shapes against a gray background.
