A so-called Saxon lace belt, creator, lace belt men's clothing accessory. The central part is a continuous belt with a geometric ornament, including a circle containing an hourglass motif. Side belts of similar width are permanently connected. The entire belt is trimmed with fringe. 17th–18th century, Poland. Lace; height 270 cm, width 25 cm., A rectangular piece of lace fabric laid flat with a repeating horizontal pattern, featuring a central band with ornate geometric motifs and surrounding bands of open net-like stitching; fringed edges run along the top and bottom. The visible colors are shades of beige and tan for the lace against a muted gray background, with subtle variations where the threads overlap. The lace shows textured braided borders, hexagonal and diamond openwork, and circular and interlaced decorative shapes in the central area, all in the same beige-tan tones. The fringe consists of loose hanging threads in beige and tan, and the overall surface displays fine threadwork and delicate mesh details.
