A so-called Saxon lace belt, lace, belts, clothing accessories, men's clothing, fashion, provenance unknown. The central part is a continuous belt with a geometric ornament; among the motifs there is a circle containing an hourglass. The side belts of similar width are permanently connected. The entire belt is trimmed with fringe. 17th/18th century, Poland, lace, clothing accessories, height 270 cm, width 25 cm., A horizontal strip of woven fabric with fringed edges running along the top and bottom and a longer fringe at the right end, the textile shows a central patterned band with an open lattice structure flanked by areas of tighter net-like weave; the material appears in shades of beige and gray with variations of light tan and muted brown in the threads, set against a smooth gray background.
