Stole, liturgical vestment, made of 18th-century silk fabric with a fine pattern of stylised floral motifs between gold stripes. Lined with linen; edge trimmed with gold galloon. Fabric background simple weave warp celadon, wefts blue, brocaded with silver metal thread with loose braiding on a white silk base. 18th century, Grodno, Poland. Dimensions: length 192 cm, width 16 cm., A long fabric strip with a wider triangular end, displayed against a light background, in green with a repeating gold woven pattern; the fabric has a gold cross patch near the wider end and some gold trim at the opposite end, with shadows visible where the strip overlaps itself.
