Double-sided gingerbread mould. Obverse: image of a trumpeter on a horse; Reverse: horse-drawn carriage. Double-sided, rectangular mould; on one side, a horseman in a parade uniform from the Napoleonic era, playing a trumpet, dressed in a long caftan with epaulettes and braid, trousers with a stripe and long boots; the horse bears a decorative row and a saddle decorated with a floral motif; below is an extensive ornament of flowers, leaves and geometric motifs. On the other side: a two-wheeled covered horse-drawn carriage with a driver on the box wearing a caftan and a high hat; a single horse is harnessed to the carriage; below is an extensive ornament of geometric and plant motifs. One edge engraved: j. Glauer.1828: No 1 signature of the manufacturer or owner and the date; on the other edge: Zum. Andenken. Dated 1828. Dimensions: height 42.7 cm, width 24.3 cm, depth 3.7 cm., A rectangular dark brown wooden block lies flat on a light gray surface, showing a carved scene of a horse and a wheeled carriage in relief; the carving includes a horse figure with harness details and a carriage with patterned canopy and spoke wheels, and the block's edges show wear and small abrasions with a few areas of lighter brown where the wood is worn.
