Rectangular wooden mould, double-sided. Edge engraved with date 1808 and, in the middle of the date, the letter S against an anchor mark of the woodcarver/gingerbread maker. Material: wood; function: gingerbread mould; motifs: female figure, flowers, fish, zoomorphic and folk motifs; style: decorative/folk. Origin: Silesia Province of Silesia, 1742–1918. Dimensions: height 19.8 cm, width 7.3 cm, depth 4 cm. Maker: unknown woodcarver or gingerbread maker., A tall rectangular wooden block with a carved recessed figure of a person wearing a long textured dress and detailed hair is shown standing upright; the block has a warm brown color with variations of lighter and darker brown tones, smooth worn surfaces and visible wood grain, and the carved figure shows carved patterns and depth with shadowed inner areas that appear darker brown, while the background and edges of the block show scuffs and small worn spots in lighter brown and beige; the scene is pictured against a plain neutral gray background.
