Double-sided gingerbread mould. Oblong rectangular form, height 11 cm, width 20.4 cm, depth 2.7 cm; dated 1820. Obverse: five motifs including the alphabet, two babies in swaddling clothes, a skull, and two draft horses standing opposite each other. Reverse: 11 images of human and animal figures — three human figures on bases two male, one female, each shown front and back, plus animals dog, rooster, sheep appearing in pairs and placed on bases. Zoomorphic motifs, human figures, running dog, roosters, lamb, skulls. Inscription engraved on the edge: F. Glauer: signature of the maker or owner, then the date 1820. Gingerbread mould, decorative/folk art; Silesia, Province of Silesia 1742–1918; maker unknown beyond the inscribed signature., A vertically oriented rectangular wooden block with worn edges and a weathered surface, showing scratches and uneven coloration in shades of brown and tan, suspended against a smooth background of muted light gray and pale bluish-gray.
