Reverse: image of the Archangel Michael in a long patterned robe decorated with a plant twig motif, holding scales in his right hand and a sword in his left; at the feet of the figure a geometric-plant ornament. Date engraved on the edge: 1806 with the letter S against the background of an anchor mark of the woodcarver or gingerbread maker. Maker: woodcarver or gingerbread, Material/technique: bas-relief. Dimensions: height 11.6 cm, width 30.5 cm, depth 3 cm., A rectangular wooden panel in shades of brown with a darker brown carved central panel featuring floral and foliate motifs, including a stylized rosette and surrounding leaf-like scrolls; the carved area is bordered by an inset frame with visible tool marks and wear, and the outer surface shows lighter brown areas, scratches, and small chips along the edges against a neutral gray background.
