Gingerbread mould, figurative folk motifs, decorative art; rectangular double-sided form. Materials: gingerbread form. Origin/provenance: Silesia Province of Silesia, Prussia, 19th century Province of Silesia 1742–1918. Dimensions: height 31 cm, width 12.7 cm, depth 3 cm., A tall rectangular wooden board in brown with a smooth surface shows three heart-shaped carved panels arranged vertically; each heart has a rope-like border and contains detailed carved scenes with stylized trees, plants, and human figures in relief. The top heart is centered near the upper portion, the middle heart is slightly lower and to one side, and the bottom heart sits near the lower edge and is slightly tilted. The carving reveals variations in the brown tones of the wood, with lighter brown highlights on the raised carved areas and darker brown in the recessed sections. The background around the board is a uniform light gray.
