Silk lisère warp satin fragment cut in the form of a chasuble column with a triangular neckline; warp-woven lisère satin with prominent brocaded pattern. Right side: damask subrapport of lisère satin background and plain weaves decoration; left side: plain weaves. Decorated with whimsical plant motifs: tiny flowers on slender celadon-green branches and fanciful forms resembling onion-shaped flower buds growing from ornamentally treated horn-shaped bases; lace-like patterning. Colors: blue background with colorful brocade and embroidered threads. Brocade threads: gold, white, pale pink, blue, burgundy; embroidered threads: orange, pink, blue. Pattern created by threads tied in a plain/simple weave. Material: silk, lisère satin, embellished and brocaded. Dimensions: height 106 cm, width 23 cm; repeat report length 44 cm., A long horizontal piece of fabric with a pale blue background featuring an ornate floral and scroll pattern embroidered in shades of gold, yellow, pink, light brown, and green, with areas of wear and fraying that reveal darker brown discoloration and thread loss; the left end is cut into a triangular notch exposing a black backing, and the fabric shows a mix of smooth and textured surfaces with repeating motifs of stylized flowers and curved leaf-like forms across its length.
