The foreground includes dense green foliage and brown earth tones, a thatched shelter or hay-like mound, and a small group of children near a basket. In the middle and background are rolling fields and distant architectural ruins in beige and stone hues, plus a stone bridge crossing a pale blue-gray stream. The piece is framed by an ornate border in gold, rust, and navy with floral accents in pink, white, and green.
