Colors: turquoise-green background, gold branches, pale pink, cream, and turquoise flowers with light green leaves. 18th century, Europe. Height 36 cm, width 21 cm., An oval-shaped carved panel with a raised floral design showing a stylized bouquet in a vase; the panel surface is predominantly dark green with areas of brown and muted olive, the carved floral elements and vase are in shades of tan, gold, and brown, and some flower petals and leaves show pale green and muted bluish-green highlights; the oval border has layered tones of dark green, bluish-gray, and brown with lighter worn streaks, and the background around the bouquet is a deep green with visible textured cracking and aged surface; overall the object displays worn edges and varied earthy colors against a pale off-white background.
