Women's caraco 18th century, blue and white silk brocaded and embellished with rose branches. Straight-cut front fastened with hooks, slightly overlapping lapels; low neckline finished with a large turn-down semicircular collar; long set-in narrow sleeves. Back cut with triangular gussets widened at the bottom and waist to create a generous basque/ruffle. Dark blue canvas lining; lace-up waistband at the lining. Inside, under the flaps at the sides, a wide red canvas belt is sewn on and laced at the front. Second variant: cream silk with blue stripes and colorful floral branches, fitted at the top; overlapping lapels with sides sewn on the bias; large turn-down semicircular collar covering the shoulders and falling deeply into the back; long set-in narrow sleeves cut in a curve at elbow height; back fitted at the waist and widened below by triangular gussets. Creator name: Józef Brandt 1841–1915 noted., A mannequin with a white, featureless face and neck wears a decorative bonnet in shades of brown and gold and a pale green and cream patterned jacket with a wide cape-like collar, diagonal striped panels, and floral embroidery in green and gold tones; the jacket covers long sleeves that match the body fabric and drape over the mannequin's white hands, and a pale cream skirt is visible below the jacket against a neutral gray background.
