Heraldic tapestry, On the vertical axis, at center under a royal crown in a cartouche beneath a canopy, a five-field shield with the Wieniawa coat of arms of Stanislaw Leszczynski and the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, displayed alongside the Eagle and Pogon. The cartouche is supported from below by two eagles standing on a chancellor's casket. The background of this central composition forms an ermine canopy backing; heraldic emblems of the Duchy of Lorraine and Bar are scattered throughout the background. The border, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, imitates a gilded frame; both upper and lower corners contain cartouches with the coats of arms of Antoine Chaumont, Marquis de la Galaizière, set against an ermine background. The center upper border shows the finial of a canopy, the lower border bears the monogram AC bound in a cartouche beneath a crown and chancellor’s cap. Predominant colors: broken purple, yellow-gold, brown also described as brown, yellow, purple, and sand. Dimensions recorded: height 370 cm, width 213 cm. Date associated with the composition: ca. 1737–1766; place of origin noted as Lunéville., A large vertical woven tapestry hangs against a pale green patterned wall, showing an ornate central urn or pedestal with a domed canopy above and draped curtains in pink and pale purple. The design includes a central circular emblem framed by decorative scrollwork and a crown in red and gold tones, flanked by two stylized bird figures with brown and cream feathers and greenish-blue plumes. The background field is mainly golden yellow with pale motifs and a broad red border surrounding the entire piece. Additional decorative panels at the top and bottom corners show cartouches and floral scrolls in shades of cream, beige, blue, and gold, and the tapestry rests on a floor area depicted in muted brown and gray tones.
