Motifs: plant tendril made of small, fanciful floral twigs in asymmetrical arrangements creating a net pattern. Weave construction: grosgrain background with silk and linen weft in a natural color, purple silk warp; looped silk purple cover. Dense plant composition, finely curved twigs with a variety of leaves and flowers – very delicate and with a refined, segmented pattern. Arranged in rows, with a half-report shift and with the calyx of the dominant flower tilted alternately to the left or right in the rows. Design report length 24.7 x width 13.2 cm. Fabrics, height 110 cm, width 18 cm., A long, narrow fabric piece with a U-shaped central cutout, shown against a pale gray background; the fabric is a dark indigo or deep navy color with a slightly textured weave, small irregular lighter spots, and a few tiny frayed edges; the top ends form pointed tips that meet, and the bottom edges are straight with a small lighter patch on each lower corner; overall the material appears thin and slightly worn with subtle horizontal and vertical weave lines visible.
