Habit à la française, Floral and plant embroidered motifs; green silk embroidered with small bouquets of flowers. Fitted at the top, widened at the back from the waist down with two slit pleats. Fastens at the front with hooks and eyes. Semicircularly cut lapels overlap at breast level and are cut off at the bottom. High standing collar. Long sleeves set in at elbow height, cut in an arc, finished with wide, slightly protruding cuffs. Side pockets at hip level covered with trapezoidal flaps. Back cut with a center seam; slits at hip level; center back flaps meet without a pleat. Embroidery runs in a wide band around the edges, cuffs, pockets, collar, and back pleats. Decorative buttons sewn in threes on the cuffs, under pocket flaps, two at the top of the back pleats, and in the pressed pleats. 1770s; Silesia place of origin / France place of creation. Garment; length 112 cm., A side view of a long green coat displayed on a form against a pale gray background, the coat made of a ribbed fabric with horizontal texture and a high collar, featuring embroidered floral decoration along the front edges, cuffs, pockets, and lower skirt in colors including white, yellow, pink, red, and pale green, with decorative fabric-covered buttons and buttonholes on the cuff and waist, and a visible slit at the back hem.
