Short, knee-length men's trousers length 76 cm, 1750–1775, Silesia. Sewn into a wide belt with a buttoned fly, made of silver lamé with a net ornament forming a pattern of small flowers. Slit pockets on the sides of the fastener, closed with a side button. Belt is slit at the back and adjustable with a flap. Legs fasten at the bottom with four buttons and are finished with narrow cuffs. Floral ornaments., A pair of short trousers laid flat viewed from above, showing the inside and patterned outer fabric. The fabric has a repeating floral or leaf-like motif in muted tones, primarily beige with accents of green and small touches of muted red and dark brown. The interior lining is a plain light beige or cream color. There are a few visible buttons near the waistband and a group of buttonholes at the lower leg openings. The trousers show seams, stitching, and some areas of wear or fraying along the crotch and inner legs. The background is a uniform light gray.
