Two-piece robe à la française dress, silk in the colour of dried rose with motifs of colourful flower bouquets and winding white lace ribbons; 1760–1765. Overskirt manteau open at the front, with a triple pleat extending almost the entire width of the back and flowing into a train. Bodice on linen lace with boning, laced at the front; deep square neckline. Narrow elbow-length set-in sleeves trimmed with ruffles of the same fabric. Neckline and bodice edges trimmed with a pleated ruffle decorated with multicolored cord trimmings twisted into tiny flowers. No lining. Skirt gathered with symmetrical pleats, spread to the sides. Patterned fabric; fabric report: height 24.5 cm, width 48.5 cm; width of fabric piece 54 cm; length 158 cm. Floral ornaments, ribbon ornament, flower bouquet motifs, ruffles; women's 18th-century fashion; Silesia; France possible origin., A full-length garment displayed on a mannequin with a gathered waistband, made of a soft pink fabric patterned with floral motifs and light decorative swirls; the floral details include shades of red, purple, green, and cream, and there are areas with a slightly shiny, textured finish. The skirt falls in deep pleats to a scalloped hem that is trimmed with a narrow decorative edging in coordinating colors. The mannequin and garment sit against a neutral gray background and a flat dark base is visible beneath the hem.
