Two-piece robe à la française dress, silk in the colour of dried rose with motifs of colourful flower bouquets and winding white lace ribbons. Overskirt manteau open at the front, with a triple pleat extending almost the entire width of the back, flowing into a train. Bodice on linen lace with boning, laced at the front. Deep, square neckline. Narrow elbow-length set-in sleeves trimmed with ruffles of the same fabric. Neckline and bodice edges trimmed with a pleated ruffle decorated with multicolored cord trimmings twisted into tiny flowers. No lining. Skirt gathered with symmetrical pleats, spread out to the sides. Patterned fabric; floral ornaments, ribbon ornaments, flower bouquets, ruffles. Fabric report: height 24.5 cm, width 48.5 cm; width of fabric piece 54 cm. Dated 1760–1765. Silesia; possible France origin. Length 158 cm., Women's clothing; 18th century., A full-length historical gown displayed on a neutral background, made of a pale peachy-pink silk with a subtle sheen and decorated with floral woven patterns in muted greens, soft pinks, and deeper rose tones, along with areas of metallic pale gold highlight; the dress has a fitted bodice with a low neckline, elbow-length sleeves with gathered details at the elbows, and a voluminous gathered skirt that extends into a slight train, with visible seams and pleats and a scalloped trim along the neckline and bodice edges.
